Once upon a time a clown and a flower were living on a small planet. The planet was so small that it was possible to cross it in two days. The planet was turning so fast that the clown and the flower didn't age. The clown and the flower liked to speak of different things and they spoke most of the time and when they weren't speaking, they were dreaming.

One day, the clown wearied of the flower. Often, the flower tried to attract the clown's attention, by different funny things or corrected him when he made mistakes. The clown didn't like this and reprimanded her. He was called conceited and narrow-minded. He said to the flower, "I don't like you, because you are too conceited. I will leave you alone on the planet and you will be happy now because you won't have anybody to contradict." The clown left the planet. The flower with a tearful voice said, "good luck" and after that when he was very far, she said crying, "I love you." She didn't have the courage to tell him that she was in love.

The clown arrived without the slightest remorse on a strange planet where many people were working. Nobody was speaking or smiling because they were too busy. The clown asked a man, "Why don't you speak to or smile at other people or to me?" Surprised, the man in a serious voice, said, "Why? For me, they aren't important because nobody speaks with me or smiles at me. I'm too busy. Bye!" The person continued to work and he went toward another planet.

This new planet was very funny because there were two pigs: a black one and a white one. When the white pig said yes, the black pig said no. The black pig contradicted the white pig non-stop and after they smiled together. The clown watched this scene for 1 hour and thought of his flower. After, he visited another planet.

This other planet was very big. There were a lot a beautiful flowers that were probably more beautiful than his flower. He liked this planet because he could speak with the flowers without being contradicted. The flowers were very ignorant and liked that the clown explained a lot of things. For him, all the flowers were the same because no flower was different from another. There was no flower better or worse than another flower. After many days, he got tired and decided to go visit another planet.

This immense planet was inhabited by an immense frog as big as its planet. This frog could see all the things in the universe and was very knowledgeable. The clown asked the frog many questions, "Why does no planet interest me? Why am I bored of my flower? Why does it contradict me all the time on my planet? Why am I so sad? Where is my flower now? What is it doing now?" With a shaking voice the frog said, "What it doesn't matter where you go. You will never be satisfied because your planet and flower are unique in the universe and it is impossible to encounter anything similar on another planet. Your flower is not the most beautiful or the most intelligent, but she is yours and she likes you because for her, you are the most important person in the world. When you gave water or joy to your flower, you gave it to yourself because after, you were very happy to have given something to the most important being to you. It is important to see not only the faults in people but also the qualities and to learn to get to know the other person before judging him or her." The frog didn't have time to finish its explanation before the clown was very far away. A low sound of the frog, saying that the flower had gone to another world, was lost in space.

The clown arrived on his planet and didn't see his flower. Day after day, he tried to find it again, but in vain. Tired, he sat and waited crying for her to come back and he is still waiting. If you hear a voice saying, "Where are you. I love you," look up to the sky and if you see a small planet, maybe it's the clown's planet.
